Outdoor Mural Painting
Pendleton Mapped - Mural, Cincinnati, OH
I had to the opportunity to work as an apprentice and detail artist for ArtWorks Cincinnati. I worked with professional artists and peers to create a large-scale mural enhancing the Cincinnati community through public artwork. The lead ArtWorks artist was Michael Stillion, and the mural itself was designed by local Cincinnati artists David and Barbara Day.

Hand Painted Signs for the Ruth U. Fertel Clinic / Tulane Community Health Centers, New Orleans, LA
Through a Sign Painting & Typography course, with Professor Adam Mysock, my classmates and I had the opportunity to work with clinic employees, and in consultation with Tulane University Public Health students, to develop brand-appropriate, informative and motivational signs. In collaboration with a small group of fine art classmates we designed, created and executed hand painted signs for the Ruth U. Fertel Clinic / Tulane Community Health center.

Indoor Mural Painting
Benjamin Franklin Elementary School Mural, New Orleans, LA
As a service learning component of a mural painting class, with my mentor and professor, Adam Mysock, I was able to work with fellow students to create a mural for a local elementary school. Beyond planning, designing and painting the mural with classmates, I was the budget manager for this project, keeping track of the budget allotted to the class and assisting in purchasing decisions such as paint brands and colors.
Adam Mysock has developed a continued relationship between Tulane University and Benjamin Franklin through the arts and the impact of art and community. Previous projects: 2009, and 2012
